Hello Lovelies
Two of the things I love the most are chocolates and makeup... The fact that I am way too obese is a clear indication of my obsession with chocolates and my makeup stash is a the perfect evidence for my latter love.. So when these both came together what do you'll expect me do ?? Yes I did exactly that.. I went to the nearest Sephora and counted the days until it would be in stock and grabbed it when I finally had the chance and bought this gem home...

Now I am going to confess something atrocious.. When I initially saw the colors I did not want to get this palette for some strange God forsaken reason.. Some of the colors struck me as odd and out of the box.. I just got this because I wanted to try something from too Faced and the choco factor... Boy was I in for a surprise... As soon as I used it, I found that this perfectly complemented my Indian skin and the colors sort of adjusted to suit my skin...

What You Get : Palette containing 16 eye shadows + Signature Glamour Guide with 3 beautiful looks

Packaging: Hats off to the packaging.. It is so creative, chic and yet girly fun.. The palette is a tin box shaped like a chocolate bar with the squares indented on it and "Chocolate Bar" etched on it.  It has a decent sized mirror and is magnetized, so opening and closing it is  a breeze.. My only gripe about it would be the same.. It can open up fairly easy I and do wish there was a snap to shut it firmly.. On opening there is a transparent plastic shades list on top of the shadows that can both identify and protect the colors.

Palette Details: So lets get down to business now..
Total Eye Shadows: 16  -- Matte: 6 -- Shimmer: 10.
All the shades are named appropriately after chocolate candies which not only entices you to use the palette more but occasionally maybe have a thought or two to give it a lick... ( It sure is not a good palette if you're on a diet!!)

Shade Swatches & Description:
Picture
1) Gilded Ganache - This is a super pigmented dark brown with a trail of gold and copious amount of gold shimmer.
Picture
2) White Chocolate - This is a matte white/beige... This isn't super pigmented at least on my skin but at the same time it feels so buttery smooth and is not the slightest bit chalky..
Picture
3) Salted Caramel - Yet another matte shade that is a true nude brown peachy color which is perfect as a transition shade. This is surprisingly very pigmented as such sort of colors never show up on my skin.
Picture
4) Marzipan - This is gorgeous highlight/all over lid color . It is a champagne sort of rose gold color.. Very light and subtle...
Picture
5) Semi Sweet - Another matte brown darker than Salted Caramel and somewhere along a mid tone. I couldn't take a snap of this as it did not show up on my camera at all..
6) Hazelnut - Clearly my favorite  shadow of the lot is this medium brown with gold iridescence. It is absolutely fuss free and in those late mornings this is a blessing from heaven..Just a swipe on your lids and you're all good to go...
Picture
7) Creme Brulee - No nude palette is complete without a golden.. The best part of Creme Brulee is that it is a gold with brown undertones and hence not a very in-your-face color.. Can be used for everyday looks..
Picture
8) Haute Chocolate - Another fave of mine and looks almost similar to hazelnut but is a shade or two darker.. So I would say it looks like a medium tone brown with gold shimmer.

9) Milk Chocolate - This is a very light muddy brown matte color that goes blends just right into my skin tone.. Can be used as a nude and has to be built up... I couldn't take a snap of this too as it did not show up on my camera at all.. (I gotta start looking for better light options)
10) Black Forest Truffle - This is one of the most complex colors in the palette and not to mention crazy pigmented. It is a plum with brown undertones and pink and copper-bronze shimmers.. Looks like a dream in the sun light.
Picture
11) Triple Fudge - This is a marvelously pigmented darkest brown of all browns in the palette. It is matte and just as all matte shades in the palette it is so soft and silky to the touch.
12) Strawberry Bon Bon - The last of the matte shades.. Light baby pink but pretty disappointing as it does not show up on my skin and is very minimally pigmented.
13) Candied Violet - This is a brilliantly gorgeous smoky purple with pink and purple shimmer.Such a stand out and yet when you wear it it just blends in seamlessly..
Picture
14) Amaretto - This is a beautiful coppery brown that is nicely pigmented.
15) Cherry Cordial - As the name suggests it is a deep burgundy with pink shimmer. Weird combination but the result is stunning...
16) Champagne Truffle - And last but not least we have an iridescent light pink that is the most beautiful highlight color I have ever seen.. And I'm sure it will most definitely glow in the dark...It's that pretty...

Extra Details:
All of the colors are super pigmented except for White Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Strawberry Bon Bon..
They all are easy to use and blend and even beginners like me can work with it..
There is negligible or no fallout in case of any shadows..
I have never worn them without my M.A.C Paint Pot in Ground Work and they lasted me all day and not once did they look out of place, creased or faded.
I also noticed that the palette does not get dirty and if at all it is easy to clean and wipe down
Price: AED 239

Availability: Sephora, Alshop.com , estilo.ae

Verdict: 4/5

When I saw the TF Chocolate Bar the first, I didn't find it impressive either, thinking of it as another neutral palette. But then, when it came out, I loved the dark shades and the blending shadez so I just had to get it and I love it now😊
